The year is almost over now. The year 2009 went by so fast.
At C. Meijer B.V. a lot has happened. A new subsidiary company in Turkey, the new laboratory where we apply the DNA marker technique, new colleagues in the Netherlands and France, the November’s Variety Exhibition held for the first time in Emmeloord. And again we have added a few new varieties.
Of course it is much nicer to look at future opportunities than to list what has passed.
What will the year 2010 bring for C. Meijer B.V.?
New accommodation in Emmeloord, the first post of the new head office in Rilland. A solid growing team of quality cultivators. A group of motivated hard-working employees. A beautiful portfolio with old and new varieties. Researching new DNA markers. Cultivating and growing the varieties the market wants and, of course, those varieties that enable us to earn a decent living. Attracting clients, based on a structural relationship with mutual respect, and always looking for new opportunities to occur.
The entire chain is important, every part of the chain contributes to the success.
Especially with what we have achieved now, but together we are looking forward to successes yet to come! Thank you all.
