Variety exhibition 2007
After a perfect preparation of the team of our breeding station, the Meijer variety exhibition started on the 8th of November at 9:00 AM. During our dinner party on Wednesday evening and our relation days on Tuesday and Wednesday, we talked to many of our clients already. Nevertheless many “new” people visited the exhibition and were eager to see our newest varieties and met our sales and technical people in order to talk about various subjects.
At the exhibition the visitors were informed with the variety characteristics. While showing an overview of the trial results, a sample of the new lines was available to look at.
In line with our “Year of the Fry”, special attention was paid to our newest French fry varieties Lady Blanca and Lady Amarilla. Fresh French fries of these 2 varieties were prepared at site and given to people. Next to this our visitors could also enjoy the taste of the well prepared Melody bakers (with filling) and Lady Christl slices.
After 2 busy days we can conclude that this variety exhibition was a great success.
