News February 2007: C. Meijer B.V. helps school children in Sri Lanka.
Life is precious. To endorse this statement C. Meijer B.V. once again made a donation to various schools in Sri Lanka to help children there build up a better future. Around 100 children from 7 schools were given all kinds of useful gifts, such as pens, books, exercise books, socks and shoes.

Just like last year, the children’s’ reaction was amazing!
The Minister of Livestock and Infrastructure attended the presentation ceremony, on invitation of our local contact person. He was also extremely happy about this positive contribution.
The photograph shows the dance performed by the children for the “officials” from the ministry and the other invited guests.
