Varieties Exhibition C. Meijer B.V.
This year, the varieties exhibition was held once again in Swifterbant. After thorough preparation, from several different disciplines within the company, it took place on Thursday the 6th and Friday the 7th of November.
Clients from all over the world saw the exhibition of new varieties, and the new decoration in the room where the exhibition was held. After many years with many flags on the wall, a colourful decoration was chosen for this year based on the colours of the C. Meijer B.V. logo, namely blue and yellow.
Different varieties from the crisps, French fries and cooking potatoes segments were on display, so they could be analysed by every visitor. Within the cooking potatoes segment, the focus was on modern varieties, such as Orchestra and Musica. A real newborn in this segment is the focus on a salad type. A good response to the crisps segment was shown by the interest in some new entries. The positive response to the modern French fry varieties Lady Amarilla and Lady Blanca confirms that the company is on the right path in this segment. In addition, the results for the brand new French fry varieties are very promising.
We can look back on a good exhibition, in which a lot of time was spent deepening the relationship with the clients.
